Karly received her undergraduate degree in Human Services with a concentration in Administration and Family Policy from the University of Delaware in 2016 and graduated from Monmouth University in 2018 with her Master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Practice with Children and Families.
Karly is a Licensed Social Worker focusing her practice on work with children, adolescents and parents. Karly's training is in Sand Play Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, CBT, Parent-Child Relationship Therapy, and play-based therapy. Karly is passionate about working with individuals who are struggling with trauma, childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, and those who are looking to strengthen interpersonal relationships.
Karly is also a certified school social worker. She has facilitated individual and group counseling sessions as well as assisted families with becoming familiar with the Special Education process. Karly specializes in helping children, teens, and families overcome difficulties & strengthen the parent-child relationship and family system.
Karly's therapeutic approach is to provide a judgment free zone to assist with healing and feeling your best self. She utilizes approaches with her clients to utilize meaningful tools and resources to help empower them to reach their full potential.
